Frequently Asked Questions

Hi friends! Here is where you can find answers to my most frequently asked questions. If you happen to have any questions which aren't answered here, don't hesitate to contact me (info in the "Book a Shoot" page).


How many photos will I receive?

The amount photos you will receive depends on the type of shoot you are going to book and the range of photos for each shoot is listed on the "Prices" page.

Are there any extra fees such as travel cost, rescheduling fees, rush fees, hourly rates, or per photo charges?

The cost of the shoot is solely the price you see on the Prices page and not per photo or an hourly rate. The only extra costs are a rush fee if you need your photos before the 2 weeks. The rush fee is $35. If you need to reschedule please let me know 24 hours in advance or there will be a $50 rescheduling fee and a non-refundable deposit (with exceptions for some circumstances). Locations will typically be close to the Chandler-Gilbert area however for exceptions there will be a travel fee starting at $30 for shoots over an hour away depending on said location. Locations more than 2 hours away will start at $100 and out-of-state shoots will be calculated based on the cost of travel expenses.

Do I pay before or after the shoot? And is there a down payment or deposit required?

When booking your shoot there will be a 50% deposit taken via Paypal or Venmo. The rest of the cost can be paid the day of the shoot either at the shoot or sometime after via cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal.

How will you deliver the photos?

I will deliver your photos via dropbox where you will be able to download them all to your computer or phone. I will send them in medium resolution so they are high enough quality to print but low enough for you to be able to post them. However, if requested I can give them in specifically high res or low res. I will also include a document explaining high res and low-res photos more in-depth so you know which ones to use for what.

Do I get to pick my location?

Yes! I will give you recommendations and help you pick if you are unsure but the final decision is up to you, however, the location must be a reasonable distance that is no more than 30 minutes from the Chandler-Gilbert area exceptions will have a travel fee.

What if I don't know how to pose?

I always guide my clients with poses and can walk you through what to do, step by step. Don't be nervous!

How can I pay you?

I accept payment through cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. And if you choose to pay digitally I will give you my username before or on the day of the shoot.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

My turnaround time for editing is about 2-4 weeks. Wedding turnaround time is 5-7 weeks but with day after sneak peeks!

How long will the shoot be?

It varies depending on shoot type, but they typically last around an hour. Wedding coverage is usually. 8-10 hours.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! On my instagram @baileelewisphotography I will post discount opportunities so follow to be in the know.

I'm a little nervous I won't like how I look and I tend to dislike photos of myself. What can be done to help that?

I know it can be difficult feeling confident in photos so I will do everything I can to help you. Either at the shoot or after if you have any specific insecurities you'd like me to be aware of, please let me know! I have heard it all so don't be afraid to tell me if it means you will be happier with the photos. Certain poses, angles, and lighting can be more flattering depending on the look you want to achieve so I can help with that. I can also make adjustments in editing to help you feel more confident. All portrait shoots come with skin softening, teeth whitening, eye brightening and the removal of bruises or scratches. Regardless you will look beautiful but communicate your worries with me so we can get the results you want! :)

What time should I schedule my shoot for?

For the best possible results I like to shoot about an hour or so before sunset, however if you have a certain time you need the photos done, that is not a problem. I will usually check the time of sunset for your shoot date and tell you which time would be best.

Do you use watermarks and do I have to give credit when using the photos?

Nope and nope! I find watermarks just as annoying as you do so I will never put them on your photos. Also if you choose to give me credit when posting your photos by tagging me that is very much appreciated but not necessary.

Do you offer any types of shoots that aren't listed on the "Prices" tab?

Yes! If you are looking for any type of shoot that is not listed please reach out for a price and details! I have shot so many different kinds of shoots but only list the most common ones but I can help with whatever you need! I have done group headshots, dance workshop photos, party and event photos, pet portraits (so fun lol!), car photos, all kinds of product photos for small brands, real estate photos, baby portraits, dancer portraits and group shots, friend group photos, prom photos and the list could go on and on.
